The league is both instructional and competitive while maintaining the principals of a recreational based program. The softball program is for 1st through 9th grades. The districts that play in the Stateliner Youth Softball Association (SYSA) include: Greenwich, Alpha, Del Val, Lopatcong, Pohatcong, Phillipsburg, and SSPJ.
